i dint install task swapper.i installed only battery patch.i got an update jst a few hours back.the updated version was 1.9-5. i know this thread is for task swapper. but when i saw karam posting 1.9-5 about task swapper. i got confused because no one else mentioned in the battery and speedpatch thread that there is a new update.

edit: i checked the HAM there is task swapper 1.9-5.dint install it yet though.just wanted to make sure whether karam released 1.9-5 for batterypatch as well or not

hi karam now the install works fine but we must reboot to start the daemon.
or we have to type start swapper on our terminal.and after ctrl+c and then it works without reboot.
Another question: there are some apps that don't switch an example: opera or cutetube or webos. do you think that it's possible solve this problem?
thank's a lot you make great job for us.

@negus72

you must have a different layout than the default one then
try making your own config in /etc/event.d/swapper

@tig3r81
there are some apps like qml apps (and some emulators) that doesn't work with task-swapper
it's solvable but i don't have time to solve anything in it

@trisha02
all 19-5 version are released

Did not ttry TaskWapper, but assuming You have a german kbd layout? And this app is using english layout ....

Try to push Ctrl(Strg)-. Ctrl-DOT

Or try to configure TaskSwapper with Ctrl-DOWN and Ctrl-RIGHT.

Just a guess ....

hi,

I would like to use ctrl:ö and ctrl:ä as hotkeys (because I use ctrl:left/right in xterm very often), but they dont work;(
Could you add support for these keys?

You should uninstall the non deb version first:

Code:
# apt-get remove taskswapper
and then install the deb ver.
Code:
# apt-get install task-swapper
