LOL okay... Time will tell I guess...
Thanks for explaining why you think MeeGo's a **** option or part of the equation.

It's always had TV-out, but crap TV-out unfortunately...

I'm still waiting on widespread official doco confirming 802.11an.
At some point we determined it was probably coming, based on several bits of info we found.
But I still don't see that reflected consistently in official doco

If we're to have crap TV-out, then 802.11an + DLNA is imperative.

802.11a? Are you being funny or seriously asking about that?

Well, the N9 page on Nokia europe website clearly mentions,
"Data Network:
GPRS/EDGE class B, multislot class 33
HSDPA cat 10 maximum speed up to 14.4 Mbit/s, HSUPA cat 6 up to 5.7 Mbit/s
WLAN IEEE802.11 a/b/g/n
"

Unless you know otherwise, I think that's credible & official enough.

Yes, and 5GHz is supposed to be supported too.

More than just supposed:

from the files submitted to FCC:

This phone supports the 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, and 802.11n WLAN protocols. You
can create an 802.11n connection using either the 2.4 or 5 GHz frequency band.
page 32 of this file:
https://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/eas/GetApp...tml?id=1506316

the SAR test files also list test cases for 5GHz
