They want to get into software much deeper and broader than they are today. To do that they need people, they need expertise, they need to organize themselves, make plans, strategies and so on. Most of all they need people. MeeGo could be a detail in the big picture for all I know, along with tons of other small details.
Mentor Graphics is not a small detail, it's a software powerhouse.

It's always had TV-out, but crap TV-out unfortuntely.
I'm still waiting on confirmation for 802.11a...
At some point that was confirmed as somethig that is coming.
But I still don't see that reflected anywhere in official doco
If we're to have crap TV-out, then 802.11an is imperative.

Well, the N9 page on Nokia europe website clearly mentions,
"Data Network:
GPRS/EDGE class B, multislot class 33
HSDPA cat 10 maximum speed up to 14.4 Mbit/s, HSUPA cat 6 up to 5.7 Mbit/s
WLAN IEEE802.11 a/b/g/n"
Unless you know otherwise, I think that's credible & official enough.

This phone supports the 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, and 802.11n WLAN protocols. You
can create an 802.11n connection using either the 2.4 or 5 GHz frequency band.
