My little brother just bought a Acer Iconia Tab A500, it runs android 3.x(i don't know which version yet since he is in a different country.

We have tried to establish a video call without any success - skype video calling is not supported yet, he had some trouble with the gtalk application.

Does anyone know of a reliable method(application) for video calling on this device or Android 3.x in general? I've read that gtalk is supposed to work from few obscure websites, has anyone tried it?

Thanks in advance.

just for the purpose of relevance - wouldn't your question be better suited for an android forum? Unless the fault is on the n900 device that your trying to video call with?

I am not a member of any android forum and this one(competitors) seems perfectly suited for my question.

Tango seems decent but its not available for PC so that is a deal breaker. I'll give fring a try, thanks.
