Hi I have a pretty new (3 months - not used too much) 770.
It seems to be turning itself on. I turn it off - then it has rebooted itself. This happens right after I turn it off, or a little later (and the batter is drained more).
I couldn't find a thread on this (but I gave up after an hour of searching).
I never installed the bugfix for "unfixed critical memory corruption bug' in the stickie".
I think I need to reflash.
any ideas? anyone else ever had this problem?

Search the forum for "hidden alarm" or "ghost alarm" or "retutime" and you should be able to disable the alarm which is most likely powering on your device.

When I read the thread title I was going to suggest stop looking at porn.

Hi, I searched, found the threads and fixed it in about 30 seconds.
Thanks! The problem must have been a hidden alarm. All I did was set a new alarm in the clock applet and then delete it. Gracias Millhouse.

Well as a footnote, you don't really need to turn off the unit. I don't remember the last time I turned off my unit, just slide the case on and it goes into sleep mode anyways.

I turn it off to save battery (I know - maybe sleep mode uses almost nothing). Seems like I am always down to a few bars - maybe because I don't charge it often. Do you guys (or gals) charge it every night?
I am a little confused about some instructions saying not to overcharge the battery - but I think that this is not really possible - its okay to leave it in overnight. thanks
