does anyone face this problem where you use the hardware keyboard on the N810 on google docs, and the auto word completion portion keeps popping up and makes data entry almost impossible.

this is particularly disrupting for google presentations! was trying to edit a powerpoint slide but to no avail!

does anyone know how to disable the auto word complete function on the N810?

open the control panel, click 'text input settings' then click the language tab. then there is a button, that looks like a separator bar, marked settings, on that screen, click the "button bar". next screen has check boxes that thank fully act as expected.

I tend to like it myself. Losing a little bit of screen space can be annoying though, no argument there. If you happen to want it back sometimes, you can also press Shift+Space to hide or show the auto-complete bar. A lot easier if you want it on and off without going into the control panel.

linuxrebel's instructions also apply to os2008/diablo on the n800, but Shift+Space via on screen keyboard doesn't seem to do anything for me.
