Hey guys,

I've just installed GPE on my N800 with OS2008. I was wondering if their has been a solution to sync GPE directly with a Funambol server? I've seen Ryan Pavlik's excellent SyncEvolution tutorial, but I don't think it describes what I'm trying to do.

I would like to have GPE running locally on my N800, then sync the GPE contacts/todo/calendar directly with a Funambol server.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Evan

1) if your topic title is a question, please include the question mark ! When I read it I had a false hope you had it working :-)

2) AFAIK most Funambol clients are Java... which is a problem on the tablets.

Ha! Sorry about that lack of question mark, didn't mean to be so definitive.....?

I see SyncEvolution and the OpenSync connector as well, but I don't know if they work with the N800 or GPE in general. If we could add this feature set to the table, it would really go a long way towards letting me leave my laptop at home.

Here's the project link for SyncEvolution:

Currently, there's a timezone issue with Funambol, but from the chatter I've heard on the Funambol lists, the boys are out working on it.
