Unfortunately, it turns out the player is NOT gapless, according to the video posted in this thread (you can see the 1 sec gap between tracks late in the video)

I'm almost thankful for this cuz it will spare me the agony of wanting to get my hands on an N9 as much as before. Still baffling when any highend smart phone doesn't include this nowadays.

I do hope you dont mean the chinese KIRFs. Maybe those were the ones u saw too. The 15 lined ones, i mean. That would also explain the version $crew-up. U sure it wasnt 'Meego-Hermit 1.1'

It seems to me that N9 owners are very few. I guess no one has one yet. Bummer

There are a few that have it. Do you NOT read the N9/N950 forum at all?

http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...34#post1100634

Lindegaard in that thread, for instance.

Hehe well I know what its like. If someone said "tell us about the SGS2!" with no specific questions, what am I going to say? "its got a notification bar"?

Ask the guy a few questions, Im sure hell answer anything you might wonder about .

My thoughts on the N9:
http://peakmob.blogspot.com/2011/10/...n9-review.html

Is it a N900 successor? No.
Is it an iPhone killer? Yes.

N9 owner for a little less than a week now. Overarching impression: it's not perfect, but I think it's the closest damn thing to perfection I've ever held in my hand - and that includes the N900, which was my previous (and much beloved) phone. That does not of course mean that the N9 is better than the N900 in every aspect.

No other phone I've had a chance to play with comes close for me atm. Can't believe it is the last of its line.
