I also agree that they should take it as a leaning experience and see some advantage in it....but it's not their intent to learn, at least not in this way.

So i gather the N9 hasn't been acquired the normal way? I wish i could get N9 for anywhere close 400.

Btw for any Finns here if you are living in capital area you can get the Nokia 360 play speaker for 99e from Expert Expo. Catch of course is that you need to line with ~10 000 people to get in to the expo center, if there's any left for Sunday anymore.

I was almost going there to get the speaker + couple of other things and play with N9 some more as it's on display there as well.

Each day I am more convinced that Eldar was right and only a handful of devices will ever be made.
I am really sad about this, but this a availability problems are raising lots of concerns to me.

I hope I can get my hands on one.

Even if I pre ordered it, so few units are stated to come to brazil that I may not get it anyway

Rumours are gaining momentum for iP5/iP4S:
http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/01/i...ll-questionab/
I reckon it'll be pretty unspectacular hw-wise, at least compared to Android ph's out or coming soon.
And maybe even compared to the N9 "overall".
iP4S sales will prolly slaughter N9's though, it's basically an iP4, but at huge discount by-the-looks.

The thing is that i don't believe for a sec that there is some certain amount of N9 made. Like already said many times that Eldar comment was originally for N950 way back, he did not know that Lankku/N9 even existed.

It was the exact same thing with N900 as you had to wait 2 months to get it, if you did order it the day it came out to the stores.
With N900 we where talking about device that sold absolutely nothing compared to the Symbian phones at the time. Still those Symbian phones had no problems at meeting the demand.

So do you reckon they're pulling exactly the same crap they did with the N900?
Isn't this time round supposed to be different, that's what they've been selling us.
This time they're serious, this is their mass-market/consumer-focussed iteration of Maemo/N900.

I'll be mighty pissed is this turns out to be the same as the N900...
What about those recently buyable Symbian handsets (700/701/600) that were announced months after the N9?
Are they readily buyable in all their targeted countries now? I'd love to know that.
Because if they are, then the only explanation I can see, is that they're ****ing us over again!

I'm with you Mike **** eFlop

A nice game to keep you entertained while you await the N9:
