Please, please, is there any important person here, a person wich works at Nokia, who knows Nokia (may be Peter @ Maemo Marketing) who can bring us a final answer to the question:
-Are the Nokia N9 64Gb version avaliable in ALL three colors? (Black, Cyan & Magenta)

Ok, I stand by what I said before. I can bring few N9's from Poland, but not until Dec. Getting one for myself for sure and what I'm thinking, I could just let people know on here I have them. THen put them on ebay for safe transaction on both ends. I've been on ebay since 2000. How does that sound?

The answer I gave is no, Nokia can't do this but probably the potential users of this program will be able to buy an N9 through third parties anyway.

Nokia has no plans of distribution of N9 in the USA. If a third party does then it's up to that third party to announce the availability and terms of the guarantee. Even if I'm not a sales person I don't think you will get any different answer from Nokia...
TMO doesn't like this answer. Send it back and bring us a better one.

Same in Asia, 64GB black only

Btw everyone, it's releasing tomm 7 October in quite a number of countries. So after this, you all should be able to source more contacts to get your N9. Asia is rather far to send the device to you, unless you really want one. The dealers dont ship out of my country
Cheaper than any European or Aussie price.
USD 665 for 64 GB, USD565 for the 16GB

In the end, it's all come down to how well we network if we want to assist others in the majority of the locations that did not receive a version of the Nokia N9.

To date, I've only been given the 16gb price(s) via Nokia Mexico, not Telcel or any other carrier in Mexico. I'm not fully sure if those phones sold on other carriers will be SIM locked or not; however I suggest that being a question if you're looking to buy one from another region.

Also, it's starting to look like certain, if not all other languages that aren't meant for that region are going to cost extra. Such is the case for the Switzerland phones from what I've been reading. Not 100% confirmed, but if that is the case, that's the lowest thing I've seen a company do in a long time that's not named Microsoft - charging for additional languages is pretty damn low in my book.

As far as the non-answers in this thread, the long and short has come down to this - they can't do anything to assist, they won't do anything to assist, and feverishly looking for a Nokia N9 is not going to show Nokia or Stephen Elop that the demand exists, release it in that region.

I'm usually a patient person; however in this case I wasn't out there just for myself this time and it seems like Nokia has swallowed the Windows Phone 7 pill - upsetting to many, not so much to me since I already own a Dell Venue Pro - but it does complicate getting answers for this endeavor.

I'm still out for answers, I just know now that asking Nokia or any of their affiliates that might happen upon this thread have no interest or capability in helping people interested in this endeavor.

That's cool. I would continue with some harsh words, but there's no need to take any of it personal. Time tells the ultimate truth. Narrow, very narrow marketing and device deployment compounded with a very narrow acceptance might still have moments of brilliance, but it never lasts long... soon it too will fade away.

As of today, no confirmations than the aforesaid ones. Cyan is not slated for the first 45 days, if at all from what Nokia Mexico has in stock. 64gb is only in Black, alongside a 16gb version in Black. Magenta is only 16gb, same price.

No incentives for bulk purchases, as I'm not a reseller. But still pegging on how to accomplish that as well.

Still looking forward to a trip to MX City.

so from this post of yours we can conclude that even though we manage to get a device from third party, and break the device in future (not willingly ofcouse), nokia service center located in Alabama is straight up going to refuse service to us even though we are ready to pay for a repair.
since you didnot mention anything about you not being in position to answer the initial question, can we take your answer as an answer from Nokia USA in general.
thanks.

Well, this might be something of an unfair posture for your question--that you would assume the Alabama service center would have anything to do with being ABLE to even fix an N9. If Nokia will not even SELL the device in the US, why would they service it within the US at all? It's not like they can be expected to stock spare units or parts.

Truth be told, I'm not at all interested in the N9 myself.. I still think it's a disappointment for lots of reasons on many levels, but I'm also particularly annoyed at the inept way it's been handled and the brand Nokia USED to have versus the increasingly tarnished brand they have today. It's no longer a place to be proud to work in--no longer a brand anyone wants. They've squandered away their opportunities. This like this just accelerate the rotting from the inside.

I sense that Nokia has become something of a shameful, tragic ship of a company with Captain DERPY at the helm hanging an albatross around his neck. These personal experiences, enumerated in this thread and others, just corroborates that sense.
