i was only reading about the beginnings of C and C++ last week. i won't profess i know C or any language but i've always had an interest in them and what people are coming and have come up with up with etc.
i think it would be nice if someone made a tribute to him in C

I started learning C++, so I'm still new to all of this and I didn't know this guy is, but after reading more about him, and more about the C language, I am now aware on how genius and important this man was! RIP Dr. Ritchie..

But I only heard the sad news an hour ago.
Unlike Steve Jobs, his death won't be on 3 or 4 headlines per day on every freaking online newspaper / magazine / blog.
Funny how a real GENIUS is practically unknown, but a "******** artist" like Steve Jobs gets all the praise, especially for things he didn't do.
