Yes it is working now,

I need to merge my contacts again, as the contacts mapping are lost...

Hopefully this stays fixed forever

Does the N900 use telepathy? I have this problem on my N800, which uses telepathy, and have been watching to see if other telepathy-based systems are experiencing this. There may be a fix in something called Telepathy PPA.

Works for me too. I'm pretty relieved and I refuse to use another program on my phone since I got used to conversations xD
