pleas help me,i was having nokia bfs kernel,but i uninstalled it as it was starting at 1150 only suckign battery,but after unistalling the multiboot still showing 2nd option maemo bfs kernle to choose,i deleted the config file from etc multiboot but also accidently delted power kernel configure file also, now when i install power kernel the multiboot doesnt show 2nd option of power kernle bcos no configure file is there for power kernle in etc multiboot,i tried creating .item file for power kernel using examples but that also didnt work ,please can someone make .item file for power kernel ,if i create it the multiobt show 2nd option blan with no name and by clicking it the 30 seconds timeer starts again,i tried installing 3,4 times power kernel but still doesnt work,please i want power kernel to overclock to any frequency anytime i need

Reinstall the bootimg package for your power-kernelIt might be necessary to copy the zImage file from /boot to /boot/multiboot/vmlinuz-2.6.28blablabla, according to your version of kernel-power also. Get your version withThen pick the red number, be aware there is a change in numbering for later versions.

i used these steps to install power kernel.
root
apt-get update
apt-get install kernel-power-bootimg

apt-get install --reinstall kernel-power kernel-power-flasher
apt-get install --reinstall kernel-power-bootimg kernel-power-modules
apt-get install --reinstall multiboot-kernel-power

now the problem it has deletd my default kernel mameo kernel and by clikcing the 1st multiboot oprion of mamemo default as well pressing 0 it says guru meditation,i have flash the kernel again from pc to make it work

please tell me exact steps to install power kernel so that i have 1 options 1 to choose mameo default and 2nd to choose power kernel,i just uninstalled all kernels n now i m having nokia default kerne

To get a working maemo kernelWhile this package drops everything in the right places, again, you have to do it manually for the kernel-power-bootimg!!!

For V43 through V46 you also have to create the file /etc/multiboot/01-Maemo-kernel-power-YOURVERSION.item containing at least three lines like this:

my n900 after capturing image thorigh camera not showin in file manager not in photos manger of n900,there is no dcim folder instead there is folder name camera which is empty,when i connect to pc via usb there comes the folder dcim but it is empty ,i tried this
