It is also possible to compare Nokia phones on the Nokia Developer pages that you linked. Just put Lumia 800 and N9 next to each other. A lot of similatirities but also diffirences.

is lumia 800 really only quad band 3g? shame and i don't see the point of not including 1700 when n9 has it. gotta pass on this one...

i was thinking of the possibility to dual boot n9 with windows till i realize that it doesn't have the 3 buttons of a windows phone...

I am outraged at the proposed pricing for the Nokia 800. $585 usd?!? While many of us here in the states are struggling to find a reputable source of a N9 16GB that isn't around $725. That little extra bit of screen size surely isn't worth that much. I'm sure they might be paying MS some sort of licensing fee, so why the hell is it so much cheaper? It feels like a slap in the face for those who want Nokia HW and more importantly SW.

When connected via USB, you have access to the filesystem to drag/drop files without having to use some crappy sync software ala iTunes etc.

Presumably I could also connect wirelessly using winscp?
