I can also vouch for Negri Electronics (see post with pictures here http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...ostcount=10168) - ordered a 16GB Magenta and it came in 2 days. The power adaptor in the n9 box is not a US-type one, but they sent a converter in the box, too. If the initial boot is to be believed, this n9 thinks it's from Australia (defaulted to that as the region when it did its 'first boot what time is it and where are you' sequence, like the n900).

Hah. Mine thinks it's from Singapore (until I flash it, at least).

I just got a tracking number for my 16gb black from www.sgbest.com for $580 USD.

According to tweets from HandTec UK, they still have 64gb black N9s unallocated from their first shipment, which will arrive with them and be immediately shipped out tomorrow.

Does anybody know whether this is a EU phone (i.e., made in Finland as opposed to made in China)? If not, feedback upon getting it would be great, thanks!

No idea but currency conversion lists this at $922, yikes!!!

I'm the one that's been badgering them about this, and that's not quite what Handtec say. They say that they should have sufficient to cover current back orders; they make no comment whatsover about any excess stock
