i find the colour tones to be rich, slightly pink, but they are to my taste.

the amoled screen looks very different to the tft on the n900

I ordered from IPMart.com yesterday, it has supposedly been picked up in Kuala Lumpur and will be here in Boston in four days. I'll post pictures and comments on it if it's as promised.

Just thought I'd sign up and pipe in since it seems to be cheapest option yet for those of us stateside (546+ship+"transaction fee" of some kind), and to share my experience whether it's negative or (hopefully) positive.

So, would you mind commenting on the colour tones?

My N9 renders yellowish white and colours are oversaturared.

Like grandma's TV in the 80's.

10.2011.34-1_PR_005 is the firmware version.

Since this is a Thai market device,
I am hoping this firmware is tuned for the Asian market and that reflashing a European firmware would set general colour tone to blueish white and less saturation.
Mine from Thailand has 10.2011.34-1.263.1_PR_263

Anyone following this thread for gripes with Handtec-sourced N9s - HughF_UK has helpfully created a new thread for the specific issues.

I've got developer mode enabled on my Handtec N9. Apparently the reason you can't enable it some times is because the time set on the N9 differs too much from the server time. Set your time accurately and it should install.

Be warned all. If you order from posten.se delivery times are very slow. I ordered mine x2 Sundays ago and still waiting for delivery to the UK.. (The price has already gone down in the meantime - on the market general).

When did you order this device? Before they got a new shipment this week or earlier?
