The phones in the film (note: Sam's phone, and the dude from Sector 7) are X7s. It might look like the N9, considering the shape, but it's not.

i think the phones shown were X7 and E7 along with some S60 5th edition device

Interesting to see if Dexter season 6 this fall will have the N9 or N950. Previous seasons used Nokia phones, N8, C7 etc.

Probably because when the movie was filmed or deal done with the studio MeeGo/N9 was still going to be Nokia's savior and they where spending cash to promote it.

First transformer had quite huge Nokia ad even mentioning Nokia and it being finnish.

I watched transformer 3 on blu ray today and I was totally surprised to see the N950.
But it looks like, you know all so long ago.
Nevertheless, I would like to show you two high-resolution images where you can see much better!

Looks like the leaked N950 to me.
Definitely not the X7. The glass of the X7 fits the full length of the phone (as shown in Erendorn's post). The glass of the phone in the movie definitely stops about 5mm short either end, and if you look at the high res shot in ro25anav's post you can see there's a definite gap (dark line) that starts from the top left of the device and carries on down towards the bottom.
