But i really tried to research - i feel like it doesnt give me enough answers - about witch i should take.


Well when CSSU (testing one) came out, i installed it on my N900

and now the new firmware came out: 21.2011.38-1

and i dont know if i should take the new firmware. or stick to the Testing CSSU??

Help me please?

Also i saw the STABLE CSSU has come out!

is there a difference from the testing one and the stable one?

if u have cssu testing installed then according to MAG there is no need of updating to nokia new firmware...rest is upto u...

Where can i download the new firmware please, im ready for a flash.

I dont see no maemo5 update, and my faster application manager says "faster application manager error, some of your packages have unmet dependencies which could not be fixed, see the log for details :s

Do you know when the new image will be on nokia site?

21.2011.38-1 got security update only not the whole new firmware....
if u using CSSU then its impossible to update to 21.2011.38-1....those update are for device are not using CSSU...

To make this clear, cssu-testing already contains the security update that shipps with 21.2011.381(PR 1.3.1).

So if you already have cssu there is no need to upgrade!

Also about stable, stable is about to come out as soon as the repository is ready. Stable will also include the PR 1.3.1 fixes and can be intstalled from stock PR 1.3 or stock PR1.3.1 but not from cssu-testing.

edit: yes you don't see the maemo5 update because of cssu, which is intended behaviour because installing a new pr on top of cssu can/will break parts of the system.

well i maybe it was just a silly joke CSSU stable came out. - sorry then
