Hmmm, seems more broken. The current CacheMe in extras-devel was compiled using the current autobuilder. The resulting binary doesn't work on the device since this unresolved symbol:

cacheme: symbol lookup error: cacheme: undefined symbol: _ZTIN10QtMobility9QLandmarkE

You didn't make a mistake. The way the packages work is just broken. Solution: Update all libqtm-12-(contacts, location, whatever, ...) packages manually beforhand and then libqtm-12 itself...

That way the offending libs are gone before libqtm-12 tries to install them again.

The thing is it's hard to come up with a scheme that would work under both HAM and with apt-get from the command line, esp considering existing apps (did I mention I grew to dislike continuosly deployed, self-maintained deb/rpm repos?)... The QtSDK installer borking on Oneiric and the Maemo target being borked within the first bork that made dealing with the whole issue a lot harder than anticipated

What exactly do you want to do ? To use this package, just do CONFIG += mobility12

In other news, please try out the 1.2.0+git20111104-0nd~fremantle5 build. Should have the rpath, dependencies and generic apt-get issues ironed out. Dpkg and HAM are probably too stupid to deal with it without manual intervention depending on what you have installed.
