Depending if you want to switch to stable, testing will not suddenly jump into warp space, and also will always be ahead of stable.

going from pr1.3.1 to cssu testing should work flawless as soon as testing v17 is out, the other way doesn't work at all

technically going from pr1.3.1 to cssu-testing now should work to, but I heaven't tested that myself

So if you already have cssu there is no need to upgrade!

Also about stable, stable is about to come out as soon as the repository is ready. Stable will also include the PR 1.3.1 fixes and can be intstalled from stock PR 1.3 or stock PR1.3.1 but not from cssu-testing.

edit: yes you don't see the maemo5 update because of cssu, which is intended behaviour because installing a new pr on top of cssu can/will break parts of the system.
what do you mean by :" can be installed from stock PR 1.3 or stock PR 1.3.1 but not from cssu-testing"?

thanks in advance!

********. Just keep upgrading from what's available. There are no known conflicts between CSSU and 1.3.1; people are way to afraid to even try. Do it now! If there's a problem, reflash. If not, keep going!

I updated to PR 1.3.1 and installed CSSU testing.
It works fine. No issues

Since cssu-stable is an adjusted subset of cssu-testing, installing stable after testing results in an inconsistent state (some stock packages replaced by testing ones but stable expects stock ones, ...), I'd have to check every single package version number to tell you what you'd have and not have installed in the end.

Also as a sidenote to don_falcone, there are no known conflicts of installing cssu AFTER the 1.3.1 upgrade, doing that one (forcing it from console) while you already have cssu installed is similar to going from testing to stable, you'll have a system with some cssu and some stock packages, which possibly conflict with each other.

There are no conflicts. People are to afraid to experiment anyways.

I'm not completely sure if it was this CSSU update (21.2011.38-1Smaemo6 Flavor: Stable) that caused it, but my device has started swapping like hell. If I leave it, then either if the phone rings or I try to light the screen it takes ages before the device can do anything useful.
What's going on? Any advice?
I am also using Swapolube app with frontend, and it's always worked fine with me, device has been snappy like hell...but now something's really weird.
