That widget is a good improvement, but proper tasking functionality is sadly lacking in n900... I've been looking for two years and haven't found anything great.

thanks for the replies...
I am using the widget improvement... I can enter events for future dates, but cant seem to make a task for future dates... for example, set up a task list for tomorrow... is this just the way it is?

Have you tried TodoList Widget?
the built in calendar/task widget is alright, but not really that great. I'd like to see my list of to-dos on the desktop without having to go through a bunch of clicks to get to the list...
Can you recommend an app?
