i couldnt manage to find a topic about the specific update, so I opened this one.
yesterday (oct 24 2011) I got this notification about maemo update. i was quite surprised about it. I allowed to update, but didnt notice any changes. in fact it seems to be more smooth desktop changes.
Can anyone tell me more details about it and, in case of the topic already exists, please be kind and send me the link, i´ll close this one then..

cannot be found in this forum.

I only see 21.2011.38-1 on my N900/Productinformation.
That is PR1.3.1 .
Don't know where the ".002" comes from or if my N900
cuts the information at this point.

Are these different updates for different areas in the world?

.002 is USA version.

without any appendix it's the global version (also known as MR0).

thank you. I had already seen the post S4br0s0 mentioned, but i thought it was another thing, as I don´t use the CSSU, and got a bit confused about PR 1.3.1 being about the 21.2011.38-1.002 update.

i just can´t get enough n900.. in fact i´m about to buy a new one, as N9 is way out of my budget...

i´ll still enjoying nitdroid, nemo and Maemo for a while..
