Are you sure it is the same problem? And not the problem that device reboots instead of power-off? Or enters mini reboot-loop instead of power-on? Both cases with USB cable or charger connected.

Did you load whatever the profile you were trying to use first?

Example: sudo kernel-config load ideal (i.e if you trying to use the
"ideal" profile)

then, sudo kernel-config default ideal

Sorry for delay, I was outside net. Yes, I got busybox-power installed. Thinking about that (timing), it's possible that it started upon installation of it, but it's pure assumption. Should I try to uninstall it, and check if issue disappear?

Yes, try it. I am suspicious about EBB as I am not able to reproduce the bug on both devices I have (no EBB) and it seems so far all users having the problem also have EBB installed. Also remove bash if you have it installed.

my device works flawless with the dsp profile!
one question, is it better to avoid 125MHz frequency ?
cheers

Hi there,

I have loaded the dsp profile, after i modified the min and max to 125 and 900 by using kernel-config load dsp.
I must say that it is amazing. it goes to 2 days and 8 hours with normal usage -emails, calls, sms, and little browsing.

thanks all for kp 49.

I have very strange problem which I didn't have before I upgraded kernel to v49. the wifi conection at home shuts down itself and after that the battery is going crazy. of course Im not sure it is connected with v49 but it is the only change in my phone last few weeks except CSSU update

Have you tried looking at the output of "top" while this issue is happening?

The only similar experience I've had was with intellisyncd (Nokia Messaging) going crazy after a disconnection (nothing to do with CSSU or kernel, obviously). My solution was to kill it on ifdown.

i have a question isnt kernel power49 consumes more battery than power48 ? i think power48 was more power efficient.
