to be honest, I saw Your post, just haven't commented, cause I have no idea what may be causing this, or if it is in any way related to bug we're discussing.
Common sense tells me, that Your reboot may fail in earlier part (before it's "finished" properly, so device act as it's unexpected), but it's pure assumption.

I have got a problem installing kp49.......
I am currently having kp48 and kp48 boot image but when updating to kp49 it says can't update conflcting with application package kp48 boot image
and when i try to update kp49 bootimage it says can't update as kp49 breaks third party software policy.......
plz help

hi,
i have tested my device after a power-cycle (with battery removal).
the results are more than depressing. i can't say that kp49 is 100% responsible for this.
so if it's so, sorry for off topic, but maybe someone can help me to get a working device back...
