@estel: did you see my post too? I have KP, CSSU_T and busybox-power and reboot works. Except I got a bootup poput of: unexpected reboot, your kernel config is NOT Loaded. Default is used instead

to be honest, I saw Your post, just haven't commented, cause I have no idea what may be causing this, or if it is in any way related to bug we're discussing.
Common sense tells me, that Your reboot may fail in earlier part (before it's "finished" properly, so device act as it's unexpected), but it's pure assumption.

my default kernel is not loading anymore after installing kernel power and multiboot. whenever i press 0 to load default maemo kernel but it gives guru mediation error. does anyone knows why its happening ?

i have tested my device after a power-cycle (with battery removal).
the results are more than depressing. i can't say that kp49 is 100% responsible for this.
so if it's so, sorry for off topic, but maybe someone can help me to get a working device back.
i have charged my device till 19:00, the battery lasts till 04:00
9 hours in offline mode with obviously no cpu usage and no usage
what the hell is going on with me device?
i performed powertop befor testing, the output seems more than nice:

And I've played all versions until this.
I can get 2/5 days of barely use, wifi and 3G powered off most of the time. For example, I recharged the device late night on monday and I'm on 23% of battery charge remaining.
In my case was KP48 the battery beast. So far that I had to go back to KP47 and upgraded from it to KP49 where I am so happy.
