Another thing, gionni88

Sorry bother you, but the playlist function is definitely with a problem too.

In addiction to the issue I told before (some weird, non-working and undeletable playlists automatically created) I could manage to create only one playlist: the function worked only once with me.

When I try to create another playlist, typing the name and using the "add" button, nothing happens.

Thanks

Are you on Windows? If so you may try mp3tag to see if the mp3 you have includes embedded album arts. Also, be sure every mp3 file has artist and album title metadata filled, they are needed to find the album art.

To delete a playlist, tap and hold on it and pick "Delete playlist", than wait few seconds till it gets removed from list. If it doesn't disappear it may means that tracker is not correctly removing it, it may be bacause of your number of tracks (tracker is a system process, it's not related to Sigma Player). If playlist is still there, you can manually remove it, it can be found in /home/user/MyDocs/Music using a file manager, or from Music when you connect the N9 to pc to use mass storage mode.

About adding playlist, which name have you named it?
Putting a space in the name does not work, I'll fix in next version as well.

Awesome work! Thank u! I like the possibility to show the music based on the directories!

Some things that I noticed, I hope it's not already known

Feature/Change

* In album view, would be nice to see the artist too, as there is enough space next to the album art to show both.

Bug?!

* When I open a album it starts with the last song, the whole playlist is from last to first one. tracknumber tag in id3 is set, also the filename includes the number of the track.

http://doc.qt.nokia.com/qtmobility-1...html#Album-var , I can't get the artist from that model, and reading metadata only happens when playing a song. And I can't have another thread retrieving the artist somewhere, it will slow down the scrolling. I may have a map and when user plays a song, an album title is linked with its artist, so when in albums page next time the artist is shown.

I thought I had fixed that album order bug in 0.0.4 setting filePath as sortering key. I have now set fileName and it seams to be ok, will be included in next version.

Maybe I don't understand the documentation right, but isn't this what we want?

This type matches all albums in the document gallery.

Properties typically available from albums include:

albumArtist
albumTitle
Doesn't it mean you can use these ones as well?

It's not implemented. It returns an empty string.

Note that only albumTitle is supported on Symbian.
Prolly they have forgotten to add Meego aswell in that sentence.

I have solved it with a QMap. At beginning it's empty, but playing songs it gets filled and it gets stored when application is closed.
