Your right Python 2.5 has not been installed.
But I just tried to install from the repository and it states the file is corrupted when I attempted to install it.
What do I do now?

Right, well... the easiest thing would be to wait to everyone to stop overloading the repostiories, but you can try this:
1. Open x-term (or install it, then open) or SSH
2. Login as root
3. run "apt-get install python2.5-runtime --fix-missing" until it works ^^'

I also cannot get iTablet to do anything after installing...
The Python Maemo stuff suggests that Python is 'just there' as part of Maemo extras these days. I've tried the update, but iTablet still does nothing...

I have the new OS2008 on my Nokia N800.
I installed Itablet version .07 and when I try to open the program nothing happens.
I have restarted my N800.
Anyone else have the same problem.
