ummm as far as I know you CANT set the feeds to update manually so I'm not sure where you set it to manual

"feeds"
"update feeds" change to manually..

i would like to know this too. my feeds are being refreshed even though i have set it to manual .. and i believe this is a battery eater!

how to feed gmail & facebook & talk.maemo.org in n900??
i am not getting an option to add feed even after pressing '+' button while browsing facebook & gmail. but am getting option for TMO but it says address invalid...
hope u will solve my problem soon..

Event page refresh itself automatically, but I don't know the time frame for that.
anyways, my question is: I have my facebook feeds to be "manually" refreshed and I have background data on. The facebook still refreshes by itself, why is that?
If I leave it manually and background data off, then nothing gets refresh..
my question is, which supercedes what? is it possible to leave background data on without facebook auto refreshing?
