There has gotta be a way to at least disable the screen getting turned on every time the sensor is activated!
However, soon I figured that there is a sensor right next to the camera lens which, when covered, tells the phone that the camera is now on. Now for a couple of hours as the phone was in my pocket, the camera application kept getting launched and then exited. I downloaded this application to disable the launching of the application but the phone is still pretty much unusable for taking pictures because I have to cover the sensor with one finger.
Is there any way to just disable the camera lens cover sensor all together? Like can the lens not get activated automatically whenever the camera application is launched? Like on other phones that don't have a camera lens cover.
