I was also looking into changing the footer info (date, time, likes and replies) but haven't found anything convincing yet. Ideas are welcome.

Yes, I find date and time way too small. If you have an idea, I'm interested. First try: same color (grey?) but bigger.
Anyway, thanks for this very useful mod.

I believe supported colours are white (ffffff), cyan (00ffff), magenta (ff00ff), yelllow (ffff00), blue (0000ff), green (00ff00), red (ff0000), and black (000000). This corresponds to each red, green, or blue subpixel being either on or off, the only supported modes when the screen is in low-power mode.

Nice mod oSCho,
btw, do you have all the colour code? i mean like FF0000 or else.
I want the blue one like in toggle button, or in the 3.5G status when the connection is active.
I'm a newbie on this
Many thanks
Or can i use this codes anyway?

I know it's possible using vi in the terminal and that there is a command to skip to a line
-> ESC :500
to go to line 500. The following link might help:

In any case, that's why I transfer the file to MyDocs and then use the cp command to copy it to the correct directory.
1.- Copy the file (orange or blue) from the computer to your MyDocs folder on the phone
2.- Open the terminal
3.- Type devel-su
4.- Enter your password (default is rootme)
5.- Type in the following command (it’s all on one line
cp /home/user/MyDocs/meegotouchhome.css /usr/share/themes/base/meegotouch/meegotouchhome/style/
6.- Hit Enter
7.- Reboot
