Hello,

anyone of you having sucessfully used DUN (GPRS, 3G) on N8x0 OS2008 final with a Nokia E-Series phone (E50, E51, E60, E61)??

For me, it is not working. I tried the following settings:

GPRS + additional AT commands at+cgdcont=1,"IP","APN"

but it always keeps saying that the connection failed. The settings do work though with my old Nokia 6021. First I thought it might have something to do with Symbian S40 vs. Symbian S60 but then found out that all the N-series phones (N80, N81, N70, N95) seem to work.

I would greatly appreciate any help in this issue.

Yes, I use DUN (3G) with my E51 and it works fine. I have a N800 with OS2008 final.

Why would you want the additional AT commands? I use the default settings for my operator at it just works. The APN field has the APN name of my operator and the phone number field contains "*99***1#". The additional AT commands field is empty.

Which provider are you using? I tried with T-Mobile Germany and it did not work. What settings do you use for "Allow plain text login" ad "Use PPP compression"?

My provider is Telenor Sweden. Both options "Allow plain text login" and "Use PPP compression" are checked.

I am sure it has something to do with the E60. It just does not seem to work. I tried all different kinds of settings and providers (T-Mobile, E-Plus).
