Yep I forgot to include that, you have to insert an empty line at the end of the control file.

Wow i'm kind of dizzy after reading this post because my ignorance.
How can i package a deb simply for containing a theme with the elements files and folders (graphics, icons, etc) and then when i double click the deb file in my n9 the deb file automatic. unpack the content for ex to /usr/share/themes/mytheme like any other deb installer file.
Sorry my ignorance

Thanks for the tip sifo.
I was reading the second part on how to pack a theme and i have a doubt... How the packager knows wheres to unpack the folder/files? Forx ex. How i say to the package that it must be extracted to usr/share/themes?

if not forget what i said
when you make the folders they have the same names of the system folders in the N9 right ? (yes) when you put the icons...etc in the folders and then you install the deb they will be extracted in the folders that have the same name in your source.
