Could it be a simple spelling mistake leading to all this trouble?

Man your first post was more valuable to us than all the tea in China.
Nokia should send you a free N810. THANK YOU.

I also needed to change both:
extras and extras-devel

In addition i had to change maemo chinook one and maemo bora
So appears bit of trial and error for now.

As noted elsewhere we may need to change it all back to correct spelling later when they fix their typo, so be ready for that to happen later

Worked like a charm!

Now we will need to make sure they don't fix the typo and we all go back to errors.

Do we need to let http://gronmayer.com/it/ now about this so he can change his reference to this in his two repos list that are affected? (I have e-mail him from his site)

I have messaged Reggie and asked him to make the following well-titled thread by PinCushionQueen into a sticky thread:

ATTENTION: How to fix Maemo Extras Repository

I wonder if someone copied the "repository" directory on maemo.org to "repostory" in order to work around the Akami/proxy/caching server issues... then forgot to mention it to anyone?! Communication after all is not a strong point of this project.

BTW, stage.maemo.org also appears to work.
