However just today my friend accidentally pushed my n9 resulting in a two-foot drop which dented (severely) two corners of the chassis and scratched the front screen a bit. ....

Well for one, the case that shipped with the device is super nice and very low-profile. And second, out of fears of scratching the camera lens as it sits fairly flush with the base of the device..
Up until now I have had it in a case, but, was thinking of going nude for a little while.. Anyone notice any scratches on the lens?
How do you rock your N9?
