why dont we just create a petition of all the people who would be willing to pay for Alien Dalvik? then we can tell them "forget about it nokia will never pay you for it, just let end users buy it. we have ##### number of people who will pay you" i dont think people care about the actual os as much as having access to the apps.

OpenACL's technically better than AlienDalvik 'overall', petition them.
But it won't go anywhere I can assure you.
There' several threads that go into great depth as-to-why.
Here and at forum.meego.com....

Thats why i think we have a better chance getting ics to run with eyes help. I mainly want ics for some apps snd more games. Not to use android on n9 all the time+ it would be cool to dualboot andeoid like on the n900

There's this F/OSS attempt at doing a similar thing
http://icedtea.classpath.org/icedrobot/
https://github.com/icedrobot/
I may be wrong, but technically I think it's most similar to OpenACL.
But it still has a looooong way to go....
Still if people want Android apps that badly...
They should be banging down their door to help in any way possible.

NITDroid9 GPS driver - Check

Theoretically, if we have a built NITDroid build for the N9, then a simple bzcat NITDroid9_GPS.tar | tar xvC /and/ should install the GPS driver.

BTW, I like the name NITDroid9, just like Cyanogenmod9
