Had the N9 for 2 weeks now. AB-SO-LUTE-LY loving it. What a phone. What a wonderful experience Meego 1.2 Harmattan is

I am a careful driver, as I was with the N900, but I have still dipped my toe in the (if rather shallow) app swimming pool.

I have the following:

DropN9
Recorder
Compass
Incredible Circus
File Box
NewsFlow
The Flashlight
Butaca (movie search)
Cute Tube
EZ List
Stopwatch
Countdown Timer
Converter
fMobi
gPodder
LiveView (from beta labs)
Dynamic Calendar icon
Organiser Feed

What do you have?

Also having mine for two weeks now (cyan) and I can already say that it's the best phone I ever held in my hands!

-Recorder
-Battery Usage (very useful!)
-Fahrplan
-MeeScan
-The Flashlight N9
-xskat (skat game - a not-so-perfect port by myself which I use to play online)
-File Manager Beta
-Plugins for ICQ/AIM/... etc.

However, still waiting for PR1.2 to fix the stupid battery consumption issue with POP3 :-/

- RingingRestorer
- Apps For MeeGo
- MeeGo Forum reader
- Maemo Talk reader
- Web2SMS

Yeah, I'm not even sure I'm missing anything 'major' - or am I?

IMHO File Manager Beta is an interesting app to have. I don't see it in your list. Do you have something similar? I also like Rotate Home Screen very much.

Both can be downloaded through http://store.ovi.com/.

ForeverAlone for the Angry Birds Magic game.

Magic Emulator for Angry Birds game. This application enables levels that require another NFC device. Useful for people with the N950 (which does not have the NFC chip) or people without friends owning another NFC-enabled device...
You can find alternative ways (fool NFC with a credit card or a metro card), but this just didn't work for me...

I have actually found Filebox to suit my needs. It was useful to go to the hidden ring-tones folder and copy in my own ringtones for mail alert and sms alert. I'd be happy to have a look at File Manager beta as well though.

As for screen rotation - this is the kind of thing that scares me. It seems like the kind of OS-tinkering app that could bork my N9. I know some people have had some problems with this kind of app, and they have certain features of the OS not work or not work the way they should.

Have you had any problems at all with it?

No, no problems at all. The Home Screen rotates very quickly and I've had no freezes since I installed it. (And you can always make a backup first, no?)

I did the same with File Manager Beta. Only then did my custom ringtones (for each contact) work properly.
