About adb/usb.

adb can work in 2 modes: over USB and over TCP/IP.
USB isn't working atm. At least I can't test/debug it - usb_eth is broken after enabling adb.

So my immediate goal is "basic" working alternative OS which run on top of harmattan kernel (possibly patched) that:
1. have working USB networking
2. Watchdog "pinger" (may be dsme+bme in chroot like we already have in n900)
3. Allow to charge the phone

Well, forget about GPS.

It's NOT connected to application processor directly. It's accesible via modem with proprietary protocol that nobody (except Nokians) knows.

The n9 hardware is what is needed for harmattan and works great with just that. I think ics would run pretty good on n9 even without dualxore processor.

Good news.

I created simple silly "multiboot" which starts alternative OS after bootloader if user pressed VolUp (it's patched /sbin/preinit indeed). If user didn't press VolUp - Harmattan starts as usual.

USB networking start - ok
Starting android init process in chroot - ok.
adb (tcp over usb) working in android chroot -ok.

And phone restarts shortly after start because any process crashes, even staticly linked busybox. So my first clue is to blame aegis... I must investigate this weird behavior (nearest goal).
Update: only apps compiled using android toolchain crashes.

That's all atm. /me away to deep debugging session
