One additional note; hiding VKB after typing is for some reason a painful operation. It's does not auto-hide after pressing enter and closing VKB "manually" is also easier said than done.

Nice! So is it buildable straight from the upstream code now? I don't mind supporting the port, but better through PayPal as someone suggested above.

No, it's not merged with upstream port from www.stellarium.org

Do you plan to merge it sometime later? It's always better to have upstream buildable.

Yes, I do, when it will be complete - as you can see now I have requests to add new features.

Hi. Thank you for kicking off the development of the first starmap app for the N9. I already bought it, but consider my donation a good-will gesture, because this is unusable at the moment.

The interface is un-navigable by touch: UI targets can only by hit precisely with a stylus, they are far too small.

I tried to select a location, and the VKB appeared and couldn't be dismissed.

The menus sometimes seem to be too big, vertically, to fit in the height of the N9, leaving controls or preferences off-screen.

The text size is generally too small.

A desktop-like interface can work on a tablet, but not on something the size of an N9. I hope you will continue to develop the app. Thank you.

for $1 it's already a must-buy, but I hope you add compass support too!
