can someone please post the contents of

/usr/share/applications/messages.desktop

or it might be

/usr/share/applications/messages-ui.desktop

so I can recreate the shortcut
Thanks
Jake

messaging-ui.desktop:

Code:
[Desktop Entry]
Type=Application
Name=Conversations
X-MeeGo-Logical-Id=qtn_comm_appname_msg
X-MeeGo-Translation-Catalog=messaging
X-Maemo-Service=com.nokia.messaging-ui
X-Maemo-Fixed-Args=-inbox
Icon=icon-l-conversation
Exec=/usr/bin/invoker --type=m /usr/bin/messaging-ui

Thank you for your response it did indeed work

On a side note, whenever I seem to flash my N9 I end up with duplicate shortcuts. I am not sure if this is a bug or not, but the fix for it is to flash the phone, then do a complete phone reset. Once the phone has rebooted the duplicate shortcuts will be gone.

I tried to fix this problem manually and that is how I lost my messages-ui.desktop shortcut in the first place.
