Yeah, it's nice to have the option but it's no biggie really.

Unlike 'cesarcesar' I have had a great experience with skype on the N900 - crystal clear reception on WiFi and 3G in various cities and countries. The phone would ring normally and I would pick it up without even knowing it was a skype call! Never actually used the front cam except for a single test to show it could be done.

Overall a great travelling companion - Full-time WiFi/3G, GPS, full-time online with skype and all IMs, effectively instant email, music & video etc, a full Linux stack with QWERTY and a half decent camera too - AND a full day of all this on an extended battery! All in my pocket! I was a bit lost when the first one broke (overclocking it in the tropics - that'll learn me) and the one I have now is a bit flaky.

I'll stick with it for now though, front cam or not, as I still haven't seen anything else that can beat the overall package - it really is a unique piece of kit.
