I would think not, both of those will only set an image the moment you use them, so if you just leave them alone, they shouldn't interfere.

Hmm. At present I have no ideas.
I'm going to receive Nokia N9 next week.
And I will experiment with standby screen on real device.

I found a few bugs on version 0.4.9,

If I uninstall the MeeCast Applet without turning off the Widget in LockScreen, the Widget remains in LockScreen forever, and is not update anymore. So I need to re-install the Applet, then turn off the Widget, and the uninstall the Applet.

Another problem I found is that the city name does not fit into the available space and is clipped and can not be understand, for example, my city is Buenos Aires, but as well as being a city is also a province, to differentiate both wheaterchannel puts the name of the weather center, Aeropuerto Buenos Aires in my case, but in the widget reads "oparque Buenos A" instead of saying "Buenos Aires".

I have no any ideas how to fix the bug with uninstalling of Meecast and LockScreen.
I will try to fix problem with station name.

It was fixed in the version 0.5 of MeeCast.
