I have an n800 running os2008. I use the dpad down arrow to scroll down in fbreader and microb. Randomly, one press on the down arrow will send the pages flying by at an alarming rate until I press another key. It acts as if the key is stuck or still pressed. This has also happened using the left arrow (I have it mapped in fbreader for page down as well). This behavior is new since I upgraded to os2008.

1) Is anyone else seeing this problem?
2) Any ideas on determining if it is hardware or firmware?

I want my peaceful browsing experience back. This is supposed to be an internet tablet, not a reflex test

Know issue with the latest release, try using FBReader in portrait mode and the +/- buttons on top for paging.

Thanks. Glad to know I'm not the only one.

I noticed this behavior on an embedded frame scrubber bar after holding down on the scroll-down arrow. I thought that maybe it was a new "feature"--kind of like the smooth scroll feature you get with the wheel button on a wheel mouse.

I tried doing different types of stylus taps to see if I could get it to work in other applications, but no luck.
