Download this and install it via terminal...
harmattan-dev.nokia.com/pool/harmattan-beta3/free/x/xft/libxft2_2.1.14-2-meego393+0m6_armel.deb

Creamy Goodness,
I got Conky running but it updates every few seconds, how do I get it to update faster like on the N900?

Edit: I'm watching it run on terminal it keeps saying ignoring heartbeat, why?

Hi Arie,
I suggest to copy the .conf file from the conky folder to your mydocs and edit it on your computer
If you installed Proximus v1.2.4 you can use the heartbeat stuff to set the approximate update speed. Otherwise there should be "update interval"? you can change instead. Let me know if you need more help.

Yeah, what do I change in the conky.conf file? And to what number?

Edit: Did it Via terminal, will try now...

It's now updating once every 3 seconds, how do I set it to once every second?

okay.
The ignoring heartbeat is a debug message, when you use heartbeat timer and have the device unplugged, it looks at update_heartbeat_battery_skip. If that is greater than 0, it will ignore that many heartbeats when running on battery. So if you want it to run full speed just set that to 0.
It will still skip heartbeats when the screen is off according to update_skips_when_sleeping.
Btw, I would set the min to 1 and the max to 2, if you set both to 1 it won't use the heartbeat timer at all.

You're welcome. I'll try to work on this some more soon. If anyone has some spare time to tweak the lua scripts, it should be pretty easy to center everything properly. I don't know why the top total memory is mostly red, that isn't correct. Red is actually a bad color for small fonts on this screen.
Temperature should be removed, Top I/O should be removed.
Anyone know how to get the charge/discharge rate? I can't find it anywhere.

Just letting you all know I've updated the config file and lua scripts to work better with the n9 screen size. Also changed the default font because Nokia Pure is now way too much vertical spacing.
I just uploaded a new version but didn't change the version number since all the changes are not in the code but in the default config files. I added a screenshot to the first post so you can see what it looks like now...

Thank you for your hardwork, but the screen flickers since I've installed conky on pr1.2, any suggestions on how to fix this?

Awesome, thank-you very much.

Here's a screenshot... well actually I took with a camera so you can see how it looks on the n9 vs the n950. Notice the text is harder to read on the n9. Pentile = crap.
The N9's notably worse but it's still quite legible for me.
Red text seems to be the least clear...
It's definitely brighter, and that seems to help a bit.
