it has been some time since i have had a second n900 to play with so i haven't kept up with the status of the alternative oses...
my primary n900 runs maemo so it seems redundant to have maemo on the second one.
it sounds like the meego/nemo build is farthest along among the non-desktop experiences...
or i could try some of the desktop-like versions, though the last time i did that i got horrible battery life.
if you are using an alt os, which one are you using?
