is there a way to reset the 770 to the factory-fresh state? I'm selling mine to someone and want to make sure there's nothing lingering on it that shouldn't be there. thanks.

Just flash it with the 2006 OS.

One problem with this is that flashing the device doesn't reset the device lock code. I'd be sure to manually change that before selling the device.

I bought a 770 off ebay in Jan 07 that I've never been able to change/set the lock code for (the original seller claimed they didn't change it, but it wasn't the default value either.)

I found this tool from nokia, would this do the job or do I have to flash from linux? I don't actually have the device with me to try this out at the moment...
