Hello!

I have done a search before asking this but my N810 will not let me back up to the internal disc; telling me it is read only. There is nothing to indicate on the memory status, however, to say this is so.

I can back up to the removable memory (4gb microdisc with adapter) but this is no use when restoring after a software upgrade. The N810 keeps reloading the backup done on the internal disc when first opened.

Any ideas?

Thank you for the response. I had done a search but obviously not useing the key words needed. Now found.

Sorted with a format of the internal disc via the PC connection. There was a corrupted file amongst the mapping software. Although I deleted it via the format, it has reappeared when reopening map on the N810. No damage done and everthing back to normal.
