we want something like N900 successor .N10 is perhaps a dream which would never come true !

CM is fine(for an android that is...) but what if something breaks down, then you are ****ed, wish mobile phones were modular like a pc, so when something breaks you can just change that from the comfort of your home

Well, that's where I'm glad I can choose my manufacturer for an Android device. We never really had a choice with Maemo. Once again, the openness and support helped there.

You do know that you've just described anybody that's purchased the Nokia N9 outside of the EU or in areas that this phone was not officially released, right?

Weird to see Nokia so exclusive on who they will and will not support.

i described almost all devices on the market, no matter the manufacturer or the OS

I'm behind you 101% put the OMAP 5 in that thing and I would name my next child Nokia!

erm if tizen does what people say and is realtime i would happily go to samsung who give the customers decent hardware and software, albeit android i dont like but it obviously works if its that popular.

i dont need these hi fi specs. just give me Maemo 5 device with N950 design 1ghz processor, sgx 540 or better one and 1gb ram, hardware keyboard. i don't need any dual core or quad core cpu's they are just useless.

I wouldn't buy it right after releasing (too expensive), but I'd buy if it had a lens cover (and even if no commercial games then preenv/alien dalvik)!!
