Hi all!

I just got N800 few days ago, and tried to install older varsion Canola ,but cannot download it from neither maemo site nor openbossa site since everytime I click download bottom, It says"The webpage cannot be found".

The reason I try to install older version Canola insread of Canola2 is
I have OS2007 on my N800, and I don't want to upgrade to OS2008 now since after I read though some post on this site I found Skype is not working on OS2008 N800.

Is there any site I can still download older version Canola??

Also, another question is according to system requirement to download of Canola2, N800 have to have either Nokia ITOS 2007 - Bora- or Nokia ITOS 2008 - Chinook.

How can I check my N800 have OS2007 Bora on my N800?
(I'm pretty sure I don't have Bora since I tried to download Canola2, but every time I tried it failed.)

Hi Nobukama, If you search for Canola in all posts you will find one above your post labeled ATTENTION: How to fix Maemo Extras Repository. This will give you good advice on fixing the download problems (If Maemo.org have not sorted by now). I found the advice by TECHNUT in this post to be the best (- thanks TECHNUT) which even provides a click now to get you going. I found that you had to disable all other maemo catologues in the Application Manager but then it worked fine)

More importantly - I have N800 running OS2008 plus Canola2 and Skype. The earlier Skype problem seems to be solved. The only real drawback with Canola2 is the lack of support for album art at present. It is coming. and it is only a Beta.

To check the current OS you have installed click settings, control panel, then about product. This will tell you what your running.
