Hi,
I just got a n810. I realized that it had gps and tried it out, it says i have no connection, i tried it next to my car where my car gets gps, and still doesn't work. do I have to buy something or set something up or should it work if i just bought the n810 without doing anything.

You need to start the mapping application and tap the satellite icon mid bottom and make sure GPS is enabled. It should start showing gray bars representing the signal within a minute or two, but the first time it might take a while to get a lock (the bars turn green and some other things appear). Also in the control panel there is something to select a BT GPS v.s. the internal one and to enable or disable it.
