This morning my beauty died. It happened in the car while it was charging through my Nokia cellphone car charger. After I pressed on a Power button to unlock keys and screen it powered itself off and did not react to anything. After sometime I noticed that when you press Power button , the screen shows several thin color lines . After a while, they disappear. Is it dead completely? What would be the easiest way to exchange it - through Nokia warranty or Buy.com?
Thanks,
godd

This does look bad... Would this be the first WSOD report on N800?

First thing to try is to remove the battery for few minutes and then try powering on again. If the result is still the same then I'm afraid it is really dead and you need to try exchanging it. If Buy.com's exchange period has expired then send to Nokia for repair...

EDIT: You beat me into it...
