Sorry to bump an old thread, but I can't seem to find the gtk package now that the pub.meego.com repository is down. I tried using skeiron.org and rzr's repositories, but neither seem to have the right packages.
Is there another way to get these?

I've put the packages from ma late COBS GTK repository here:
http://modrana.org/misc/harmattan_gtk/
And I'm also in the process of uploading all the sources to the source directory.
Plus points to anyone who can make this to a working APT repository so I can update the usage instructions.
BTW, I think RzR should also have my stuff, I'm quite sure he mentioned crawling it all.

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to install python-gtk2. I added the following repos :
deb http://mirror.lxer.com/harmattan/hom...ttan_standard/ ./
deb http://skeiron.org/repo/repo.pub.mee...ttan_standard/ ./
But when trying to get python-gtk2, I got the following errors :
Err http://mirror.lxer.com ./ python-gtk2 2.12.1-6maemo10harmattan12
404 Not Found
Can anyone help me with it ?

To get the compatible sources, it might be best to just extract the sources from the source RPMs here: http://download.meego.com/live/home:...2_testing/src/ Then look at how the GTK+ IM module was actually packaged for MeeGo 1.2 and port the RPM stuff to .deb again. Install the (hopefully correctly built) .deb on your N9[50] and perhaps virtual keyboard support for GTK+ apps will then just work. At least we got it working on MeeGo 1.2 proper, on Ubuntu and on Fedora. So why not the N9? ;-)
