Hi,

first of all, i know the devices are different even if they have the same CPU

but i only notice it now, that the N95 has the same CPU as the N800/N810 -> which brought me to think - will the future N Series devices, especially the future phones, run Maemo as its OS?

if yes, i am dead happy

thanks and happy new year.

It's certainly *possible*. However, Nokia has a financial stake in the Series60 OS so there's some inertia there in moving away from it. If I knew anything more solid I couldn't say.

Given that S60 is the most used Smartphone OS in the world (global, not local), and Maemo is, well, maemo, I highly doubt it.
